Secure Your Facebook Account

What can you do to keep your
Facebook account secure.

Here are a few things you can do to keep your account safe:

  • Think before you click.
Never click suspicious links, even if they come from a friend or a company you know. This includes links sent on Facebook (ex: in a chat or post) or in emails. If one of your friends clicks on spam they could accidentally send you that spam or tag you in a spammy post. You also shouldn't download things (ex: a .exe file) if you aren’t sure what they are. Learn more about recognizing suspicious emails.

  • Pick a unique, strong password.
Use combinations of at least six letters, numbers and punctuation marks and don't use this password for any of your other accounts. Learn how to change your password.

  • Never give out your login info (ex: email address and password).
Sometimes people or pages will promise you something (ex: free poker chips) if you share your login info with them. These types of deals are carried out by cybercriminals and violate the Facebook Terms. If you're ever asked to re-enter your password on Facebook (ex: you're making changes to your account settings) check to make sure the address of the page still has facebook.com/ in the URL.

  • Log in at www.facebook.com.
Sometimes scammers will set up a fake page to look like a Facebook login page, hoping to get you to enter your email address and password. Make sure you check the page's URL (web address) before you enter your login info. When in doubt, you can always type facebook.com into your browser to get back to the real Facebook.

  • Update your browser.
The newest versions of internet browsers have built in security protections. For example, they might be able to warn you if you're about to go to a suspected phishing site. Facebook supports:

Run anti-virus software to protect yourself from viruses and malware. You can learn more and download this software for free:

NOte: We are requested all girls who are using facebook ... PLZ PLZ Don't post your  Photos on facebook... Coz your photos may be use in negative activites so aware of this.

What is Barcode

Barcode
Lines of different widths and sizes representing data, that when read will determine what the scanned object is. Barcodes are often used to help organize and index information or prices about an object. Barcodes used by the U.S. postal service that helps speed the delivery of mail is another perfect example of how a barcode could be used. In the picture to the right, is an example of what a barcode for an address may look like.

 Barcode readers and scanners
A barcode reader or scanner, also known as a point of sale (POS) scanner is a hardware device capable of reading a barcode and printing out the details of the product or logging that product into a database. A perfect example of a barcode reader is a super market barcode scanner that reads and logs the price of a product. In the picture to the right, is an example of a Barcode reader from HP.

Today many smart phones with the proper apps are also capable of scanning and reading barcodes.

Barcode Printers
A hardware device capable of printing out adhesive barcodes that can be attached to a product. This helps identify the product or a company keep track of its inventory.

Barcode companies

Barcodes Inc: http://www.barcodesinc.com/
Barcodes Inc. is a company dedicated to barcodes and has a wide variety of barcode products such as barcode readers, barcode printers, labels, and much more.

Barcodes Inc also has an online generator that enables you to create your own barcodes over the Internet and a free downloadable barcode font that can be found at:

History of Bar Codes

The first patent for a bar code type product (US Patent #2,612,994) was issued to inventors Joseph Woodland and Bernard Silver on October 7, 1952. The Woodland and Silver bar code can be described as a "bull's eye" symbol, made up of a series of concentric circles.

CD/DVD Struck in ROM

How to Remove a Stuck CD/DVD From Your Computer CD ROM

Has your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM or any other devices eaten a CD/DVD, and isn't letting it out?
If you want to take that CD/DVD out of your CD-ROM, and the Eject button is not working,
then you are at the right place.

Follow the steps below in order to take out the disk of your CD or DVD ROM.

                                                      1. Unbend a paper clip or Hair pin.

2. Look very closely at the area around the CD/DVD drive door until you find a really small tiny hole - it almost looks like an accident (probably just below the door).

3. Insert the paper clip in the hole :-) (don't be afraid).

4. Push the paper clip gently to press the spring-loaded latch.

5. And your CD/DVD tray should open right up.

And you have done with a short paper pin…
